The Arizona Cardinals reversed a ten-point deficit into a three-point victory Sunday, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13-10 in Tampa.

Down 10-3 in the fourth quarter, following a Jay Feely field goal, Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer found wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald open on a 13-yard touchdown pass. Feely booted through the extra point to tie up the score. The touchdown was set up by cornerback Patrick Peterson, who picked off a pass from Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon at the Tampa 13-yard line.

Just over a minute and a half after tying the game, the Cardinals took the lead on another Feely field goal. The Buccaneers took possession of the ball with 1:29 remaining in the game, needing a touchdown to win, or a field goal to send the game to overtime.

Starting from their own 20-yard line the Buccaneers were able to move the ball to their own 41, before Peterson intercepted Glennon again, on a pass intended for wide receiver Vincent Jackson. The Cardinals proceeded to run out the clock and secure their victory.

Both teams struggled to make much of an impact in their running game. The Cardinals totaled 56 yards rushing for the game, led by running back Andre Ellington’s 29 yards. The Buccaneers tallied 80 yards rushing, running back Doug Martin rushing for 45 of those yards on 27 carries.

Palmer completed 21 of 38 passes for 248 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Glennon, who was starting in place of the benched Josh Freeman, threw for 193 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

The Cardinals (2-2) will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 5. The Buccaneers (0-4) will take their winless record into the bye week.
